About Digital Mapping Australia
DIMAP was established in Perth Western Australia in 2005. It conducts operations Australia wide and has expanded to undertake projects in Nambia, Zambia, Tanzania and other African nations as well as regions in Malaysia,Indonesia, Fiji and New Zealand. DIMAP utilises resources and expertise from it's German based sister company which has been operating since 1998. The collaboration between the two companies in opposing time zones permits continuous output for processing and production. This ultimately allows the faster delivery of our products to clients.
Digital Mapping Australia operates a comprehensive range of specialised airborne sensors including,
- Large format digital imagery using our Vexcel UltraCam
- Small format digital imagery with our Hasselblad 22 mega pixel camera
- Full waveform light detection and ranging (LiDAR) from our LiteMapper 5600 laser scanner
- Hyspex hyper-spectral multi band VNIR and SWIR sensors and
- Thermal infrared cameras
